Speech writing is ongoing and lots of hard work is being done! We are hoping to have our first draft finished by next Wednesday and peer editing to begin after that. While time has been given in class to work on speeches, students who have missed some classes or who were late choosing a topic may have to do some work at home to catch up.

Speeches: ensure you have your research finished (3 arguments and 2-3 facts for each) and a rough draft of your introduction finished for tomorrow. Your introduction should include a hook to engage audience, statement of your name and the subject, and the three arguments that you will discuss. NO EXCEPTIONS!

3. Ce qui est arrivé : un séisme qui apportent un tsunami
4. Où : Le séisme est 250 km au sud de Terre Neuve. Le tsunami frappe la péninsule de Burin.
